SolarPost solar LED light poles offer an affordable lighting solution for pathways, roadways and public spaces, especially in more remote locations where access to mains power may not be economically viable. Being lower than a normal street light, these poles are ideal for providing a more precisely focused light on roadways, footpaths, walkways, parking lots, housing developments, commercial premises and other large public spaces.
Available in three heights - 6’6”, 9’10” and 13’1”. Light output can be adjusted from 0% to 100% and operation time set for either 4, 6 or 8 hours after nightfall using the supplied remote controller.
The unobtrusive solar cells generate sufficient power for illuminating the signage for many days.
SolarPost lights are guaranteed to work from dusk until dawn, providing high performance white LED 300 lumens light for up to 14 days without daylight.
Batteries can last up to 10 years and can be disabled when not in use.
The SolarPost control system uses an algorithm to maximize the power generated from each solar panel. The optimum power point of the panels is calculated in real time to capture energy efficiently and harvest the maximum power from each panel.
Battery management technology mitigates full discharge by reducing the LED brightness until there is sufficient ambient light to charge.
The light level can adjusted from 0% to 100% to suit specific conditions and localities.
Operational time can be set to either 4, 6 or 8 hours after nighfall.
Trenching for electrical wires along a pathway can quickly become expensive. This cost can escalate rapidly if other challenges arise like rocky terrain.
Any trenching means disruption of the site, access restriction and the cost of subsequent ground remediation, vegetation replacement and landscaping works. With SolarPost street lighting poles, only individual footings need to be installed.
With less work in site preparation, electrical connections and site remediation, SolarPost light poles can be installed in just a fraction of the time compared with mains powered light poles.
SolarPost enclosures are rated as IP66 according to international standard EN 60529 - 'dust tight' and protected against heavy seas or powerful jets of water.
Photovoltaic cells are sealed behind UV stabilized tempered glass and being at the sides on the poles rather than at the top, are less exposed to potential damage.
